Peacefully, after a difficult and lengthy battle with Parkinson's, Julius passed away in his sleep in the wee hours before dawn on May 18, 2021, at the age of 85 years, just days after his 65th anniversary with his wife Emilia.
Julius will be forever missed by his beloved wife Emilia; his son Michael and his daughter-in-law Pressy. Julius is also survived by his many relatives in Hungary whom we have spent most our lives apart from, but never forgotten or lost touch with. His nephews, Gyuszi and family; and Guszti and family; his sister, Margaret as well as many others in what he used to call "The Old Country".
Julius was a kind and generous person who was always helpful to anyone in need. He had a deep love for life, family and friends. As an avid winemaker, he always had friends to share his company after five. As a gifted and skilled carpenter he was well liked by his co-workers and employees during the years he spent in the construction industry. He achieved many goals and accomplishments in his life, the greatest of which was raising a family, building a house with his own two hands for them to live in and providing for them for many years.
Our family would like to thank the many people who have helped us take care of, provide for and love Julius during his declining years. Without you, we would never have made it through our long ordeal. Without you, our lives would have been unbearable. You are all blessings and we love you all.
We thank all the caregivers; Grace, Joanna, and Marvy Lou and all the others who have contributed to his care and comfort these last few years. Your loving care and compassion will never be forgotten. You are all family to us now and we love you all. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Our family would also like to thank the many friends and neighbours who have helped make Julius ordeal bearable for us. Thank you Kristen, Dave, Wally, and Winona and many others for your friendship and helping hands during these difficult times. Your humanity, gracious help and selfless support have shown us that the only thing that makes our existence in this troubled world bearable, is each other.
A private family Funeral Service will be held.
Thank you all.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Dear Michael and Pressy Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your father. He has left many memorable memories for you to remember him by. Ted and Lydia Boyachek - Posted by: Ted and Lydia Boyachek (Friend) on: May 30, 2021

  • Dear Emmike, Michael and Pressy: The passing of Julius caused sadness in our hearts especially because of the years of suffering Julius and you have endured in the past few years. It has been a priviledge to know, to worship and work with Julius through the past many years. One cannot forget the early years when you trusted Ann, my sister, and I to babysit Suzan and Michael. After our father died, for years, you picked up our family and took us to church. As a teenager , Julius offered me employment in his contracting business. One cannot forget your activity in church building, the many years of Folklorama, your activity in the Hungarian dance group and Jolineni's stage plays in the church hall. It has been an honor to work with and to be a partner with Julius in the road construction industry. He was a good friend, an example with his strong work ethics and with his ability to withstand the trials and disappointments of business life. What an example you both are as a married couple to o celebrate 65 years of married life as a true loving partnership. At this time, let me comfort you with the word or our Lord Jesus Christ as written in John 11:25-26 as follows: "I am the resurrection and life. He who believes in me will live even though he dies. and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die." It is our faith in Christ that assures us that death is not the final chapter. Along with our condolences please allow me to also include heartfelt condolences of John and Marika Paizs. They also think of you with love and deep sorrow at this time in the passing of Julius. with love Adel and Geza and family and Ann Szabo and family - Posted by: Geza Nagy (Friend) on: May 29, 2021
