ROBERT PRODUNIUK (BOB)
Date of Passing: May 19, 2021Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of nearly 45 years, Barbara; their daughters, Shannon (Cory) Westover and Tanis (Ken) Toews; and his grandchildren, Callie, Rayna, Eddie and Eleanor. He is also survived by his sisters, Joyce (Cyril) Pollitt and Audrey (James) Milne, nephew Benn, nieces, Pamela and Sherise, brothers-in-law, Boris Nowosad and David Lulashnyk, and aunts and many cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Rose Produniuk.
Bob was born and raised in Winnipeg, spending many weekends at the family farm in St. Claude, Manitoba. His career was mainly in the electrical industry, notably with B.A. Robinson, Eecol Electric, and J1S Electrical Services. Bob and Barb were married on July 17, 1976 and together they raised two beautiful daughters whom he was very proud of.
Bob loved his family more than anything. From quiet moments roasting kolbassa in the backyard with his wife to loud and treat-fueled visits with the kids and grandchildren, we know he cherished every moment as much as we did. He made many lifelong friends over the years through work and his neighbours on the street. Bob was always available to give advice on a project, lend a tool, or just talk and have a laugh.
There are countless hobbies and activities that Bob excelled at. He has proudly displayed his pool tournament trophies and various woodwork projects. He truly loved spending time with Barb, whether relaxing or working on the yard together. He loved to fish, camp, visit Grand Beach, and never turned down a challenge to a game of shuffleboard. Bob was mechanically inclined, he could fix any appliance or vehicle. All too often it would be Barb's car on the coldest day of the year.
It's impossible for us to express what an amazing person Bob was. He will be missed by everyone, loved always, and never forgotten.
A private funeral was held for the family on Friday, May 28, 2021.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)
We have been neighbours to Bob and Barb for 18 years. The news of his passing was a big shock, and our hearts go out to our friend Barb, Tanis, Shannon and their families. Bob was always willing to lend a hand, on occasion peeking over the fence to see what we were doing to the yard this time!! He always offered advice, tools, supplies, whatever he could offer up he would. We will miss him a great deal, and hope his family can find the strength to get through this. Cheers Bob until we meet again, Suzann & Paul - Posted by: Paul and Suzann (Neighbor) on: Jun 01, 2021
Bob was a wonderful man. I truly enjoyed working with him. I remember one day, I had to price a small obscure part on an invoice, and I asked him if he had ever heard of it. He rattled off a parts number and a price. I thought, yeah right! Sure enough he typed in the part number and there it was, he even had the price right. I always loved chatting with him and hearing about his kids and his grandkids. When I think of Bob I always remember how he always greeted me with a warm hello and a smile. Hopefully they let you treat them to some beat leaf buns up in heaven. RIP my friend, Yvette Bernat - Posted by: Yvette Bernat (Past coworkers ) on: May 29, 2021
