ROLAND JOSEPH GOBEIL

Roland Joseph Gobeil was born March 26, 1953, in Roseau, MN to Thomas and Emilienne Gobeil. He had 18 siblings. He was a trucker his whole life. He shared 27 years of his life with Julie Santl. They had four beautiful children together.
Roland died on May 26, 2021, at the age of 68, after a short battle with Leukemia. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Emilienne Gobeil, as well as many of his siblings.
Roland is survived by his four children, Joseph Gobeil (Ashley), Angele Schalla (Scott), Melissa Duncan (Jeremy), and April Gobeil (Matthew). He also had four grandchildren, Chloe, Olivia, Gordon, and a baby girl due soon. He is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, and by his best friend and neighbour, John Doerksen.
We want to thank the doctors and nursing staff of Health Science Centre floor GD6 for their amazing support during his final days.
Burial arrangements will be handled by Korban Funeral Home. At Roland's request, no funeral will take place.
In lieu of flowers, burial expense donations are greatly appreciated or donations in his honour to CancerCare Manitoba.
