Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Charlie was the best friend of my Dad, Ron Connors, for over 40 years. My Dad loved spending time with Charlie at his property - hunting geese, walking or just sitting and enjoying nature together. It was undoubtedly my Dad’s favourite time. I remember how upset Charlie was when my Dad got sick and was in the hospital- my Dad loved his visits though. When Charlie passed I was so sorry, but I know they are together, probably watching the birds from above. Thank you Charlie for being such a good friend to my Dad. My deepest condolences to Donna, Cheryl, Darla and Gary. - Posted by: Lynsey Connors (Best friend’s Daughter) on: Jun 22, 2021

  • Charlie always cherished his friends and he kept his word. He loved his collections of antiques. I recall in 84 as we were going to the Beach Towers restaurant for a burger we were amazed as we watched the two water spouts dancing near the shoreline. He loved the outdoors. My thoughts and prayers to Donna and family during this difficult time. Take care and be positive. - Posted by: jack kowalchuk (Friend) on: Jun 08, 2021

  • Charlie was the true epitome of "Love Thy Neighbor". He always had a smile on his face and was ready to have a conversation anytime, anywhere. He would be over at a moments notice if you ever needed a hand. We feel blessed to have known him for the last 30 plus years. He will be truly missed. Our condolences. - Posted by: Roy and Karen Martin (Neighbour) on: Jun 07, 2021

  • We are so sorry to read about Charlie’s passing....I know that I haven’t stayed in touch as often as I should have, but truth be known I think of him all of the time. I know how difficult these last several years have been for you and for Charlie, but I hope you take comfort in your good memories and his good name. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.....Fondly, Chuck and Naida - Posted by: Charles rubin (Friend) on: Jun 05, 2021

  • My hunting partner, community carnival associate. Very good friend. Our daughter's godfather. Although we are miles away we will miss him. - Posted by: Herb & Emily LaChance and family (Our Daughter's God Father) on: Jun 05, 2021
