It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Doreen Mary Dusik at Carman Hospital with her husband Joe at her side, on May 31, 2021 at the age of 83.
She was predeceased by her parents, Nestor and Germaine DeMeyer; in-laws, James and Florence Dusik; brothers-in-law, Jerry, Rudolph, Irvin Dusik and Pierre Dalrymple.
Doreen will be missed by her husband Joe of 62 years; three sons, Darren (Wendy), Brad (Tami) and Kerry (Kathy); six grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, Tess, Brendan, Tiffany, Bryce and her sweet great-granddaughter Keira Dusik. Also, sisters, Bernice Reimer and Linda Dalrymple; brother-in-law Victor (Jude) Dusik, sisters-in-law, Jolanna, Marilyn, Joyce Dusik and families.
Family meant everything to Dor as she raised three sons in which she was so very proud of, gained three daughter-in-laws, and enjoyed six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Doreen was a wonderful cook, baker and loved working and living on the farm and family life. Dor was happiest in her yard, tending to her flowers, shrubs, trees and a very large garden of which she generously shared with her friends and family. Doreen was a strong lady, sweet, soft spoken and had the cutest laugh.
Doreen was in ill health for the last few years and on May 31, 2021 the good Lord wrapped his arms around her and took her pain away.
Special thanks to Dr. Tim Ross, the doctors and staff of the Carman Hospital for their compassionate care. Special thanks to Dorothy Erb for her lifelong friendship.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Rest in peace Mom, Ma, Dor, Sweetie,
Gran and Granny. You left a legacy of
love and a source of strength and comfort.
Your spirit will continue to guide us all.

Love you forever.
