STANIS MARIE HOLLOWAY
October 15, 1932 – May 29, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Stanis Holloway on May 29, 2021, at the age of 88.
Stanis was predeceased by her parents, Katherine and Nicholas Holowacz; sisters, Helen Holowacz and Jean Jaworski.
She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her niece, Maureen Wallace and family of Saskatoon and niece, Linda Jaworski of Calgary.
Stanis was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she lived her entire life. She was employed at Crane Supply as a pricer and moved onto Success/Angus Business College as Office Manager. In her retirement, Stanis enjoyed her garden, flowers, watching her favourite sports teams on TV, listening to her late-night radio programs and especially enjoyed the companionship of her poodles, Suzie and Carmel.
Stanis will be remembered for her work ethic, integrity, generous spirit and her quick, witty humour. She could make anyone laugh. She had a keen mind with a terrific memory.
A very special thank you goes to Dr. Hartley and the staff at the Grace Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service and interment will take place at a later date at the Holy Ghost Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to the Grace Hospital Foundation.

Stanis will be greatly missed.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • So very sorry to hear of her passing. I lived next door to her in my younger years and we enjoyed a very close relationship, so much so I would buy her Mothers Day cards. I have fond memories of sitting at her kitchen table drinking tea, helping in her garden, and walking our dogs in the school field. She used to call me Thompson with a chuckle. Again my condolences to the family. - Posted by: Lucille Sigmar (Next door neighbour) on: Jun 05, 2021
