My condolences to Valerie and family. Bob was a Royal Winnipeg Rifle (little black devil) years ago. I was also Wpg rifle and then I transferred to the Queens Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada. As the assistant curator of the museum, I have guests examine the railings in the stairwell and point out where they have been raised. Bob had the unfortunate experience of falling over the low railing on the second floor of the armoury and landing in the basement, luckily only breaking his arm. Bob Geddes, his comrade rushed down the stairs to his aid. - Posted by: Michael Nickerson (Army conrade) on: Nov 10, 2024
