LINDA FORZLEY
(THOMPSON)
August 26, 1957 - June 2, 2021
She was a proud mother, and despite the physical distance she had with her children and grandchildren in Canada, she did all she could to keep in touch and remain present in their lives, always planning the next trip to visit.
Linda loved to sing, go out for dinner, decorate her home, cook, and play host at dinner parties - her famous lasagna a longstanding hit. When out and about, she never had a hair out of place, or nails not perfectly polished.
Whether it was Christmas in Oban, Scotland, a summer visit to Canada, or an exotic sunny destination, Linda loved to travel and was always planning the next dream holiday she and Jimmy would take together, and there were many, including Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Italy, Seychelles and more.
She was a fierce, larger-than-life type of person who would stand up for herself and the people she cared about. Linda had undeniable charisma, personality, and was often the life of the party. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind, no matter the topic. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered for her compassion, kindness and unforgettable attitude.
To commemorate Linda, a private gathering will be held later this year, as restrictions allow.

I met Linda in 1970 when I moved to Winnipeg. We became fast friends and spent lots of time together. Linda was always singing and dancing around. I was so sad to hear of her passing. My husband Chuck and I would like to send our condolences to you and yours. Debbie Oates - Posted by: Debbie Oates (Friend) on: Jul 15, 2021
