HENRY HERBERT WESA
1929 - 2021

It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Henry (Hank) Herbert Wesa announce his passing on June 6, 2021, at the age of 92.
Hank was born on May 26, 1929 to Rose and Henry Wesa (deceased). He was the eldest of four children, siblings, Kathy, Millie and Al (all deceased). Hank was also predeceased by his loving wife Gertrude, to whom he was married 50 years until her passing in 2002.
Celebrating Hank's life are his sons, Hank (Bobbie) Wesa, Dan Wesa and Lorelei, Duane (Wendy) Wesa and daughter Shannon (Martin) Rietmann. Hank was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Hank was a journeyman electrician by trade and established his own business called Valley Electric in early 1960s. He was a proud business owner until his retirement in early 1990s.
Hank was an active member of the Canadian German Society for several years, he enjoyed listening to country music (especially Marty Robbins), playing crib, doing crosswords, and visiting with family. He was also an avid curler with many "Ass Ender" trophies as proof. Hank was known for his incredible sense of humour and was always good for a chuckle or three.
Well Dad...you can finally wear that "white sport coat with a pink carnation".
A celebration of Hank's life will take place at a late date.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Fred Douglas Lodge for their care for the last five years.
