S. AGNES JOLICOEUR

Jeudi, le 9 avril 2020, S. Agnès Jolicoeur fit son entrée à la maison du Père à l'âge de 96 ans. Elle était membre de la Congrégation des Missionnaires Oblates de Saint-Boniface depuis 77 ans.
Agnès naquit à LaBroquerie, au MB, le 20 décembre 1923. Son père, Jean-Baptiste Jolicoeur, était natif de Giroux, MB, et sa mère, Bernadette Beaupré, était native de Stony Mountain, MB.
Elle fut précédée dans la mort par ses parents, ses frères, Joseph (Agnès et Alice), Aimé (Yvonne), Rosaire, Père Gérard Jolicoeur, s.j., Edmond (Laurina); ses soeurs, Joséphine (René Chamberland), Cécile (Fred Brissette), Thérèse (Joe Peterson) et Alice.
Outre les membres de sa congrégation religieuse, Agnès laisse dans le deuil, son frère Jean-Baptiste/John (Lynn), son beau-frère, Georges Désorcy et ses belles-soeurs Irène et Eileen.
Les Missionnaires Oblates de St-Boniface désirent remercier toutes les personnes qui lui ont procuré de bons soins à Villa Aulneau.
La messe de la résurrection sera célébrée à Villa Aulneau lundi le 14 juin 2021 à 13h30. L'Abbé Fernand Desjardins présidera la célébration. Les personnes de l'extérieur auront l'occasion de visionner la messe en temps réel au site suivant: www.villaaulneau.ca L'inhumation des cendres aura lieu au Cimetière St-Boniface de la rue Archibald après la messe de la résurrection. La direction des funérailles est confiée au salon mortuaire Cropo.

SISTER AGNES JOLICOEUR

Sister Agnès Jolicoeur passed away at Villa Aulneau, in St. Boniface, on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at the age of 96. She was a member of the religious Congregation of the Missionary Oblate Sisters of St. Boniface for 77 years.
She was born on December 20, 1923, in La Broquerie, MB. Her father, Jean-Baptiste Jolicoeur, originated from Giroux, MB, and her mother, Bernadette Beaupré, originated from Stony Mountain, MB.
Agnès was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Joseph (Agnes and Alice), Aimé (Yvonne), Rosaire, Father Gérard Jolicoeur, s.j., Edmond (Laurina), her sisters, Josephine (René Chamberland), Cécile (Fred Brissette), Thérèse (Joe Peterson) and Alice.
Besides the members of her religious congregation, Agnès leaves to mourn her passing, her brother, Jean-Baptiste/John (Lynn), her brother-in-law, Georges Désorcy and her sisters-in-law, Irène and Eileen.
The Missionary Oblate Sisters of St. Boniface express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Villa Aulneau for their care and compassion.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Villa Aulneau on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Mass will be livestreamed at the following website: www.villaaulneau.ca to accommodate external viewers.
Father Fernand Desjardins will preside the celebration.
Inhumation of the ashes will take place on the same day at St. Boniface Cemetery on Archibald Street. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
