YEO: It is with great sadness that the family of Eric Arnold Yeo announce his passing as he slipped away peacefully in his sleep at home with his loved ones on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Eric was born in Roblin on June 21, 1953 to parents Arnold and Emily (both deceased). He is survived by his two sisters Judy (Allen deceased) and Sandy (Philip). Eric worked for Bearing Supply for 25 years before moving to the Pas where he began a new career in Hotel Management and met his wife Heather. In 2007, Eric and Heather moved to Brandon and worked until his retirement in 2019. That same year, Eric and Heather were officially married and honeymooned all the way to Newfoundland and back. Eric loved reminiscing about vacations and often spoke of the family vacation to British Columbia when the children were young. Eric will be deeply missed by his three children: Kathy, Mike (Chantell) and Chris (Anatalie). Granddaughter Brooke (Mike and Chantell) will miss her Papa Eric but her memories will benefit greatly from the last few months as Eric and Heather lived with Mike, Chantell and Brooke. Also left to mourn Eric are his three step-children: Jeremy, Jolene (Jody) and Jason (Ryana), as well as five step- grandchildren: Aiden, Rayna, Karsyn, Ella and Eli. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eric Yeo may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. There will be no formal funeral service.
