EMERY EUGENE LETEXIER
May 23, 1938 - June 14, 2021

It is with heavy hearts the family would like to announce that Emery Eugene LeTexier passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, at the age of 83.
Emery is survived by his sister Doreen Nowakowski, sisters-in-law, Elaine LeTexier and Ivy LeTexier, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Eugene, mother Olga (nee Manduik), and stepfather John Goy. Also predeceasing him were his sister Clara Coles, brothers, John and Robert, brothers-in-law, Walter Wuzuik and Edward Nowakowski.
Emery was born and raised on the family homestead in Fisher Branch. In his youth, he attended Laval School which was a one room schoolhouse. Emery learned from a young age all about working and helping on the farm. Emery's first love was for farming, especially the International farm equipment. He farmed up until last fall. Emery also loved farm auctions, driving around in his truck, and his frequent visits to the coffee shop to socialize with his friends. Later on in life his friends showed him the joy of fishing. Emery was a positive person who liked to laugh and visit over a good cup of coffee. He was a hard working, kind-hearted man and will be forever missed by his family and friends. Although he was a bachelor and never had children of his own, his nieces and nephews brought him joy.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Arborg Hospital and St. Boniface Hospital on 5E who provided great care and comfort to him in his final days. These frontline workers are true angels and heroes for the patients and their families, especially during this pandemic. The family would like to thank Pastor James Thiessen for the funeral service, and Gordie and Tracy for their caring professionalism with Uncle Emery's funeral arrangements. We are so fortunate you have eased our grief.

"Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean we'll miss you, until we meet again"

Due to Covid protocols, a small private family graveside service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Fisherton Cemetery in Fisherton, Manitoba.
