Although it has been what seems like an eternity since Lawrence was taken from this world I have never, never forgotten him. I sincerely mean it when I say that seldom does a week go by where I don't think of him. Those wonderful memories of him calling me to join him on stage when his band was playing at a social event, those talks that he and I had during the way too few family occasions that I was able to attend, his tenderness, his wonderful laugh, his kind and loving mannerisms, right down to the fact that Lawrence gave me my first kiss (even though we were cousins so it was all very innocent), there has never been another person who has impacted my life the way he did. Having no siblings of my own Lawrence was what I would have hoped a brother would have been like and he was my shining light. God made only one Lawrence and, obviously, had plans to have him by His side before any of us were ready to say goodbye. Ollie and Garry I unfortunately never had the opportunity to know you but please know that one of my greatest wishes is that we could have met because I know you must be very special people just by how I knew Lawrence. Please know that I am another person who remembers, misses and still loves Lawrence and will continue to do so to my dying day. His light has never gone out for me! Sincere love to you both. - Posted by: Pat Murdock (cousin) on: Aug 09, 2021

I have nothing but wonderful memories of Lawrence. It was a joy to have taught with him at Alexander Ross and an honour to have him as a friend. He was just a wonderful person and I have thought if him so often through the years. I know the great love he had for you and Garry and hope you are well. - Posted by: Margaret Dykes (Friend ) on: Jun 27, 2021
