Condolences & Memories (11 entries)
While I parted company with his firm a year ago, I miss the "Swedish Chef"! Scott brought a genuine aspect of fun to the doldrums of accountancy. We shared a history of time spent in a commercial kitchen, but Scott trumped me in terms of accountancy. Never a critic, SJ always had another idea to share. Such a Gentleman he was. May the family recover from this premature loss, but also understand we ALL will miss him. Namaste, Dave Terrick - Posted by: Dave Terrick (Co-Worker) on: Jul 20, 2021
My deepest condolences to the family. Scotty was foremost our friend then our accountant and auditor from MNP to On Business. On behalf of our First Nation communities thank you for your kindness, patience and laughter. You will be missed my friend and may your family find peace in the fact that you were such a good, kind and selfless person. Thank you Scotty. Eleanor and I are shocked and very saddened to learn of Scott’s sudden passing. Our sincerest sympathies to Kristine and Ilanna. We met Scott and family as neighbours at Winnipeg Beach and we could see how devoted he was to his family. He was always working to improve their beach home and to be very engaged in life at the beach. We will miss you very much. - Posted by: Garry and Eleanor Winch ( Neighbours at Winnipeg Beach) on: Jul 04, 2021
We had so much fun together as kids, playing games, camping trips and summer days spent together. I remember fondly playing monopoly for hours with cousin Edward. Or pretending we were soldiers fighting the bad guys in many different battles. I am sure Amma is taking good care of you and both will be watching over your family as they go forward with their lives. RIP in my cousin and my friend, you will be missed. - Posted by: Kyle Holyk (Cousin) on: Jul 02, 2021
I had the privilege of getting to know Scott during our time working together at MNP in the old bullpen. No matter how difficult things were, Scott was always smiling or laughing with that infectious laugh that could be heard from far away. You couldn’t help but being happy around him. He was such a genuine person and would do anything for anyone. He will be greatly missed by anyone lucky enough to have known him. My thoughts are with Kristine, Ilanna and the rest of the family at this difficult time. - Posted by: Nicole Fehr (Former Co-Worker) on: Jun 30, 2021
Sending condolences to Scott's family on the loss of a wonderful person. Scott was always there with patience, wisdom, and a smile or laugh whenever needed. He was such a pleasant person and co-worker, and I remember the times we worked together fondly. Gone way way too soon. - Posted by: Robin Campbell (Ex co-worker) on: Jun 30, 2021
I am truly grieved at the loss of Scott, and cannot imagine your loss! He was booked in for a finally awaited haircut and chat on Tuesday! I always enjoyed the warm humour of Scott. Sadly he didn’t make it here and I could not replace “his time”! I spent that time lighting a candle with much prayers for his family, which were his ultimate joy in life! Rest peacefully my friend - Posted by: Marilyn Broesky (Barber) on: Jun 30, 2021
I have been friends with Krissy for 30 years or so and was there to witness the start of the love that grew so greatly between her and Scott. Scott was without a doubt an extremely devoted husband and father. His family was so obviously the sun, moon and stars in Scott’s life. I felt that there was never a better match between two people. Krissy and Scott were the perfect match - they had enough in common to be best friends and enough differences to keep life interesting. I will miss his great sense of humour and his countdowns to Xmas on his Facebook page. My condolences to Krissy, Ilanna and the rest of the family. - Posted by: Kim lemoine (Friend ) on: Jun 29, 2021
Such a special person taken far too soon. Scott was such an amazing man to have had the pleasure to work with. His friendly demeanour, sense of humor and willingness to help everyone will be forever remembered. My sincerest condolences. - Posted by: Jason Nickel (Ex Co-Worker) on: Jun 29, 2021
A great man taken too early. I will always remember his laugh and his smile. There is nothing I would not do to see you one more time. I will love and respect you forever - Posted by: michael hayhow (friend) on: Jun 29, 2021
I had the fortune to work with Scott for a short 5 months and Scott was always welcoming and readily available to help when asked. I enjoyed going into his office because it was always nicely decorated especially at special holidays. His smile and humour always made the day enjoyable. Although I do not know the family, I wish you all my sincere sympathies. My prayers are with you. God bless! Anita Funk - Posted by: Anita Funk (Ex Co-worker) on: Jun 29, 2021
