EVELYN MAE CURRIE
(nee TURNER)

Suddenly on June 24, 2021, at the Gimli hospital, Evelyn Currie of Winnipeg Beach, aged 87, left us.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and George Turner, husband Cliff Currie, son David Joss, daughter Donna Sitter, brother Robert Turner and sister Bev (Clint) Trakalo.
Evelyn is survived by her son William Joss (Betty Taylor), son-in-law Bob Sitter, grandchildren, Dale, Dawn, Melissa, Sarah, Joe, Nicole, Derek, Amanda, Krista and Tasha. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Nick, Vinnie, Hayden, Bentley, Isabella, Lola, Hannah, Emma, Thomas and Liam.
Evelyn was born and grew up in Winnipeg. She worked at Camco and made many lifelong friends there. She enjoyed bowling, curling, playing crib and spending time at the trailer at Winnipeg Beach.
In 2007, she bought a house in Winnipeg Beach and lived there full time. She was actively involved with the Legion and the seniors there for as long as her health permitted.
She enjoyed life, being with friends and making new friends. She loved her family and was especially proud of her 3, 10, 10 - 3 children, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Evelyn, Ev, Mom, Auntie, Gran, and
Great-Gran - We will always love and remember you. We miss you already.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
