MARGARET DEBORAH READY
Born on February 23, 1940 in Orangeville, Ontario, Margaret was the only child and chosen daughter of Allan Grant and Lilly Emma Hill, the most wonderful parents a child could have. Margaret was predeceased by her father in 1958 and her mother in 1986.
Margaret resided in Toronto until the year 1958 when her father passed away and then she and her mom moved to Winnipeg. Margaret was trained and employed in both the dental and medical nursing fields.
She met and married Wayne in 1975 and together they had a loving and happy life. Some of Margaret's favourite times were her many winter vacations in Scottsdale, Arizona and summer get-away to Minaki Lodge. She especially enjoyed attending to her flowers at home and assisting Wayne with their numerous yard projects.
Margaret was an Adherent of the Salvation Army Winnipeg Citadel Corps and did some volunteering for the army. Margaret (or Debbie as some called her) will be remembered for her caring and empathetic attitude, especially towards the elderly.
She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband, Wayne, and her cousin, Sandra Gable, along with relatives and friends.
Thank you to Dr. St. Vincent for his care over the years and Dr. Raabe, cardiac surgeon, who saved her life in 2005. Wayne would also like to thank Irma, Julie and Ainsley for the excellent home care extended to Margaret during the past years.
At Margaret's request, cremation will take place and a private family service and interment will be held at Chapel Lawn at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1932, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2.

Within I soon shall go
There shall my eyes behold the Face
