NORMAN (PONCHO) EDWARD HERMAN
July 23, 1940 - June 26, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman (Poncho) Herman on Saturday, June 26 at 10:02 p.m. after a brief battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by parents, John and Mary, brothers, Morris and Elmer, sister Eunice, in-laws, Yvonne, Fred, Nora and Kitty, and his parents-in-law, Len Earl and Mary Richardson.
Poncho is survived by his wife Maureen of 56 years, son Leonard (Roxine), and granddaughter Sarah. He also leaves sister Pearl (Vic Decaro), brother Gerry (Sam), brother-in-law Len Richardson and sister-in-law Iris, numerous nieces, nephews, two great-nieces and a great-nephew, and best buddy Boris Todoriuk and friend Robert.
In Poncho's early years he was an avid weightlifter, holding many records that still stand today. Scotty Thompson was his coach at the CNRA gym and pushed him to the limit. Norman was a hardworking man all his life. For many years he worked on the pipeline, then decided to buy a Duffy's cab that he owned and ran for many years. He loved his furry friends, "poodles", all his life. He enjoyed meeting up with the guys at Kildonan Place which had become a weekly Friday outing.

We will be looking out for you Poncho!

A gathering will be held at a later date.

E.J. Coutu in care of arrangements.
