• Jeannette Roche (friend & curling buddy): So sad to hear about Barb's passing. I got to know Barb very well the year we curled together in Riverton. I enjoyed her sense of humour so much. She made the later draw at 9 pm more fun. After that she held a very special place in my heart. Whenever we met we shared a happiness of seeing each other. Rest in peace my friend. I will always keep you in my heart. Lloyd Roche: Whenever our paths crossed, Barb would call out "Mr. Roche, my favourite teacher!", even though I was never her teacher.
