  • Followup. The other night I had a DREAM about SHAWN and my dream was so vivid, lifelike, and real. This is my DREAM: I was driving my car down a street and I saw SHAWN sitting in a chair in a house behind a glass window. I drove my car behind the house and I banged on the back door. But there was no answer. So I walked to the front of the house and there was an open doorway and Shaun came to the door. I asked Shaun from the other side "SHAWN why don't you come outside and talk to me or let me come in?" SHAWN answered, "Sorry JOHN, But I can't go outside and you can't come in. It is not your time." That was the end of my DREAM. I am a SPIRITUAL person and I truly believe that once my time comes that SHAWN and I will meet again. • I recently heard of SHAWN'S passing and I would like to offer my condolences to his brother ROD and the WINTINK FAMILY. I probably had not seen SHAWN in over 40 years since we were in school together and played on the same school sports teams together. NAMELY, volleyball at BRUCE JUNIOR HIGH. My fondest memory of SHAWN was because of his tall height as a kid, SHAWN always put his opponents at a disadvantage and this is what made SHAWN ONE HELL OF AN ATHLETE. SHAWN was one of the best players in my school and he sure knew how to SPIKE a volleyball. I will deeply REGRET not getting to know SHAWN better after our school days were behind us. • Katie ... your Dad thought the world of you ... when he visited us on May 1st his face just lit up when he spoke of you -- his exact words "I just love her to the moon & back" -- so every time you look up and see the moon ... know that he is wearing that famous smile and that it is just for you - Posted by: Greg & Shirley Wintink (brother) on: Jul 14, 2021
