(nee LUBOSCH)
September 30, 1939 - July 4, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing on July 4, 2021 of our beloved Mom, Erica, at the age of 81 years.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Richard (Gloria) and daughters, Monica and Joanne, granddaughter, Emily, sister Irene Krueger, sister-in-law Marilyn Toutant (Robert), numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Erica was predeceased by her husband George, brother Eric Lubosch, brother-in-law Jacob Krueger and parents, Simon and Katherine Lubosch.
Erica was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she grew up and later married George. They moved to Ontario for a brief period of time until making their final move to Sherwood Park, Alberta in 1968.
Erica worked for many years as a kindergarten teacher in Sherwood Park. She had a very fulfilling career teaching many children, most of whom she could remember until her final day.
Erica will forever be missed and fondly remembered as a kind, caring person with a heart of gold. She loved to travel and visited many places all over the world. When she wasn't travelling she enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Memorial donations in memory of Erica may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
A service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I met Ricki at U of M when we were in Education. Ricki often picked 2 of us up on Corydon for a ride out to campus. Lots of good chats and fun. Of course I also met George at that time. Ricki came to visit me in Penticton when someone in the family was at the Okanagan Hockey School. I offer my condolences to you all; Ricki was a fine person. - Posted by: Doreen (Way) Bobbitt (university friend) on: Jul 22, 2021
