Leslie, it’s Tammy. It’s 2023 now..I’m sorry I couldn’t be there to bury you. When I was in the hospital and heard that you passed, I crumpled within with no words to express how I felt. I remember seeing you the last time, talking through things that were bugging me, hearing you call after me as I left that you loved me. You were a good big brother, looked out for me as I made my own choices in life. You were there for me, an intelligent person to bounce ideas off of and our family bond was precious. Only.. I regret not turning back to give you a hug when I saw you last, but I’ll always remember how you would say “I love you sis” before we parted. I just thought there would be a next time... Now as I mentally prepare myself to bury our brother James, I prepare to see your final resting place as well. I truly believe we will meet again one day. And I will give you the hug I took for granted the last time I saw you. You are remembered with love and respect from me. RIP. - Posted by: Tammy Bruyere (Younger sister ) on: Aug 26, 2023

We grew up together, I am sorry I wasn't there to help you, but I couldn't find you or never knew where you were, man I miss you a lot brotha, there ain't a day that I don't think of you, your death will not be in vain, but at least you ain't in pain no more, I kept the fire goin for you, I made several offerings and tobacco in th sacred fire, I stayed strong and didn't cry at the funeral but I was furious to find out how you passed, I'm so damn sorry - Posted by: James (Twin brother) on: Mar 22, 2022

I miss bumping into you randomly ... I can't believe this happend.. you didn't deserve to go out the way you did.. you shouldn't even be gone anyway...I'm just happy knowing that you're no longer in any pain...and your struggles are over... It was really hard laying you to rest.. and I'm gonna try to better my life in your honor because I know that's what you would want. I stayed strong for you when I was out in the Rez for you .. James and I.... Just watch over us... And know that you will always be on our minds.. and forever in our hearts.. till we meet again big brother. Leslie was a very special person and I am deeply sadened by his passing. He had the biggest cheeks, warmest smile, and a mischievious laugh but the most prominent was his kind, infectious personality. He will forever be in my heart and my thoughts. - Posted by: Sarah Halldorsson (Friend) on: Jul 12, 2021

There aren't even words to express my sadness and my grief for you. I am so sorry. I wish I could make it on Monday to honour him. What I remember most about Tonto is how he could make everybody smile by just walking in the room. - Posted by: Emilie Beaulieu (Friend) on: Jul 10, 2021
