EDGAR KOSMAN
and
ANNA KOSMAN
Edgar and Anna are survived by their sons, Brian Kosman and Neil Kosman, his wife Shannon Stratton and their two grandchildren, Nikolas and Samantha Kosman.
Edgar and Anna met as teenagers while living in the town of St. Adolphe, Manitoba. After of several years of courtship, they finally married on October 30, 1954. In the end, they were married 65 years and were the love of each other's lives.
Anna was a teacher her entire career, starting out with a one room schoolhouse and working her way to several elementary schools in Winnipeg. Edgar spent over 32 years working in the stores at Canadian Pacific Railway, while developing a great passion for gardening and yard work. They spent most of their working years in St. Adolphe near family and friends, enjoying a quiet and peaceful life.
They were fortunate enough to retire at an early age and moved their lives to the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. They started out in Winfield and ended up in Kelowna, enjoying a wide variety of fruits and many bottles of local wine. During this time, they developed a wonderful passion for square dancing, travelling with friends up and down the valley every weekend. Of course, they supplemented their square dancing with many trips and cruises and watching their grandchildren grow. Anna volunteered for many years at the BC Cancer Care clinic and Edgar spent many hours walking through the streets of Kelowna, meeting friends for coffee and keeping his heath in tip top shape.
With respect to Mom and Dad's wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration service as their life itself was a celebration and will never be forgotten. There will be a short gathering around the family gravesite in St. Adolphe later in the summer, just with close family.

My heartfelt sympathy for my friend Brian and his brother Neil and family. Me and Brian used to take a car ride out to the area where he and his brother and extended family were raised, it must have been a grand family life with that big garden to tend. I met your mom and dad a few times, your dad was so dedicated to your mom, a once in a lifetime love. My condolences to all. - Posted by: Darlene Wall (friend of Brian) on: Aug 16, 2021

Sorry for your loss Neil, Brian and family. They were like my second parents growing up and were truly exceptional people. Wish they were still in St. Adolphe as I would have loved my wife to get to know them. They will be missed. My sincere condolences.
