MARGARET GWENDOLIN BUCKLEY

It's with great sadness we announce the quite passing of our mother and grandmother, Margaret Buckley, on July 5, 2021. Margaret passed away quietly in the early morning hours at the St. Boniface Hospital.
The family wishes to thank the staff at 7A West at St. Boniface for all the care they gave to Margaret.
In accordance with Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. All service arrangements to be made through Sanderson Funeral Home.

  • I didn't even know my friend had passed on. I was thinking of her probably during that time of her passing, wondering how my friend was doing. We visited mostly at Friendship Centre in Winnipeg. But we shared many stories that brought us laughter and the one time we attended an event as self appointed "elders" made us laugh so much. Our stories were unique because it captured an era that not too many would be familiar with. And it was for this reason why humor played a large role in our visits. Always something to laugh about and never a harsh word for anyone. That was the motto of my friend.
