Robert Weston Woodley passed away peacefully on Friday, July 9, 2021.
Rob was a great and kind man, he leaves behind his wife Janet, his children, Denise (Amanda), Chad (Sarah), Susie (Dale), three grandchildren, Ethan, Sam, Mya, his brothers, Don, John and their spouses. He also leaves behind his cousin Anne, "the girls", Audrey, Sharon, and his puppy Rascal. All of whom are already missing him. He was predeceased by a daughter Stephanie (Blair).
Rob's love for the water started at an early age. He loved life guarding and continued his love of aquatics with scuba diving and competing with the Master's Swim Club. Rob also enjoyed golf and relaxing with a good book. Over the years, Rob gave back to the community through volunteering on many non-profit boards and showing support to Habitat for Humanity.
Rob loved business and specifically took an interest in the flooring industry. This would be his passion throughout his life, taking him on many different adventures. For the past several years, Rob worked with the company Antex Western. His love for his "work family" and dedication to his customers kept him fulfilled.
He will surely be missed by all. We would like to thank Palliative Home Care nurses Trish and Donna for their kindness, care, and dedication to Rob.
At Rob's request, a service will not take place.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Palliative Manitoba.

  • I am truly sad to learn of Rob's passing. Rob was an incredible mentor to me in my early career. His kindness, patience, and work ethic was an inspiration. I was lucky to have worked with Rob and to have been connected to his family through Chad, Stef and Blair. It was truly amazing how our lives and families intertwined, as if he was sent to guide me when I needed it most. • Very sorry to hear of your loss. I have known Mr. Woodley since I was 10 years old and spent many great times with Chad and Denise in their pool at 45 Pine Valley. Such a good guy and a real gentleman - always nice to me and my brother Jason. As a family also with no relatives in WPG, we often spent holidays with the Woodleys - such fond memories!
