Condolences & Memories (13 entries)
Lidija - I don't know if you remember me from Arts and the Education 12 week cohort. Thought I would offer you my condolences. I hope your mother, who lived a very long life, had good quality of life until her death. My sympathy. Dear Lidija, Juris and extended families we were all very saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. Your Mom and my Mom were so dedicated to Daugavas Vanagi, for all those years. I can think back on all the evenings spent together in someone's basement raffling something off to raise money for those who had suffered during the war. A spring bazaar, a fall supper or just visiting, it seems like yesterday but so many years have passed. Lidija, I remember being at your wedding to Imants, being at the Stasus farm for DV Dienas - Latvians worked hard and played hard. What I remember most about your mom was her never ending energy and cheerfulness. The numbers keep dropping. Our love and thoughts, Martin & Vivian Jandavs and our families - Posted by: Martin Jandavs (Family friend) on: Jul 20, 2021
