Condolences & Memories (5 entries)
My deepest sympathy to Elva’s family. I only knew her for a very short time. She tried to teach me Icelandic at the classes at the Centre. She was very encouraging in my attempts to speak no matter how bad I messed up Bless Elva. Rest In Peace beautiful lady - Posted by: Carolyn Warrener (Friend/Student ) on: Aug 14, 2021
My deepest condolences to Kendra, Marina and the extended Jonasson family. My Mom and Dad (Joan and Ken Pink) were friends with Elva and Steini through the ceramics business and always spoke so fondly of them both. I hope your many good memories bring you comfort. - Posted by: Barb Pink (Friend of Family) on: Aug 14, 2021
My deepest sympathy to all of you on your loss of this beautiful soul from your lives. Keith and I felt so supported and loved by Elva and Steini in our youth as we started out in life. Their love and compassion, perseverance against overwhelming circumstances, their calm acceptance of whatever happened in their lives and their loving and generous spirits were an inspiration to us. The world is a better place because of their having been here. Love from Davvy - Posted by: Davvy Eyolfson (Relative) on: Jul 18, 2021
I remember after high school graduation my friends and I all went back to Kendra's . Not only did her parents have champagne chilling on ice for us but Elva prepared Chinese food for us all. My deepest sympathies to you Kendra and Marina and family. May all your memories of your Mom always bing you comfort. Alda - Posted by: Alda Thomasson (Friend of Kendra) on: Jul 17, 2021
