Florence was a former cook at the George M. Guimond Care Home. When her daughter-in-law passed away she stayed at home to raise her two grandchildren, Ashley and Ashton. She was well known for her cooking and baking. In the community she always donated her baking to the wakes. She loved to sing Gospel songs and rarely missed any wakes or funerals to help bring comfort to the families. She loved to pick blueberries, medicine and wild rice when she was younger. Every day she read her bible and prayed for our family and the community especially for those who needed prayers. She loved going to Gospel meetings and Jamborees. She loved all the people she met in her travels. She will be greatly missed by her family and community.
"Precious in the sight of Lord is the death of His saints." Psalm 126:15
