CAROLINA (LENA) TOMASI
(nee TORTORA)
September 15, 1939 – July 16, 2021

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carolina (Lena) Tomasi. She passed peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surround by her family: husband Eugenio (Ugo); children, Reno (Raylene), Sandra and Sabrina (Bowser).
She will be remembered by her brother Franco; sister Elisa, and many friends new and old.
She enjoyed socializing with everyone, fishing, mushroom picking, cooking and feeding everyone who came by. She loved travelling especially to Italy to visit family and going south to South Padres Island.
Due to COVID restrictions if you would like to view the service it will be on July 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary. The live stream link is https://youtu.be/N-PF6TKqDF0. Interment will happen after the service at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue and all are welcome but please follow COVID restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favourite charity or just do something nice for someone else in need or not.

  • I fondly remember visiting Sabrina at her home when we were school aged, and her mom always made sure we were fed. One particular time, I think it was Sabrina’s birthday, and her mom made us, ALL FROM SCRATCH, even the noodles, homemade lasagna!!!!! It was my first time having pure, homemade lasagna!
