Condolences & Memories (11 entries)

  • Living out of town, and missed notice of "Coop's" passing. Shocked and saddened. Went to Dakota with Bob, and he was in my Recruit Class WPD. So sorry for your loss Lynn. - Posted by: Harv Basler (Co-worker and high school friend) on: Aug 14, 2021

  • Bob was both a school chum and a fellow Cameron Highlander cadet. I was always in awe of his skill with the side drum and although we lost touch, I was not at all surprised to learn of his prowess within Winnipeg’s pipe band community. I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing and I know that it leaves a huge void in the lives of his family and friends. Deepest sympathies to you, Lynn. - Posted by: Dunc Malcolm (Friend of long ago) on: Aug 13, 2021

  • Played in four pipe bands with Bob. Always the moral compass for the younger bandsmen. He will be missed by the entire piping community. - Posted by: Gordon Nichols (Friend) on: Jul 26, 2021
