ROBERT STANLEY CARLSON
February 25, 1940 - July 15, 2021

Robert passed peacefully at his home in Winnipeg, on the evening of July 15, at the age of 81. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family.
Born February 25, 1940 in Spearhill, MB to Bill and Edna Carlson, Robert spent most of his life in Winnipeg. He spent a good portion of his life working at Dominion Bronze and Iron Ltd. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and baking, as well as chatting with any passersby. He also had a great passion for stamp collecting.
He is survived by his children, Robbie, Jackie, and Paul, all of Winnipeg; sister Sandra of Stonewall; sister-in-law Freda of Winnipeg, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his friends at 22 Strauss Drive.
Robert was predeceased by his father Bill Carlson in 1969 and mother Edna Carlson (née Gudmundson) in 1986. He is also predeceased by his three brothers, John (1937), Richard (2017), and Donald (2004), as well as sisters, Jeanette (2007) and Bernice (1999). He is also predeceased by one brother-in-law.
As per Robert's wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow at the Spearhill Bethlehem Cemetery.
A memorial donation may be made in his honour to Diabetes Canada, 401 - 1 Wesley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6.
