HILDA ROSE BLAINE
She was born with a sense of enthusiasm and adventure that lasted throughout her life, often to the dismay of her older siblings as they had to track her down as she was prone to wander and toddle off on adventures. She had a full career with numerous departments within the Federal Government. Upon retirement, until the love of her life Gary's passing in 1998, was spent living life to the fullest from spending time on golf courses, cruising, hot spot vacations and road trips in Big Blue.
Always spunky and the social butterfly she treasured lunch dates with friends, shopping trips with the Blaine girls, Schoen Sunday lunches and family get-togethers that included her nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)
Dearest Auntie Hilda - I will sorely miss her newsy, handwritten Christmas letters. She was a very kind and generous Aunt to all her nieces & nephews. I believe she was the glue that held her siblings and their families together. I had hoped to get to Canada to see her once more, but that was not to be. She was loved by many and we will all miss her. Gail (Schaen) McFadden, Blenheim, New Zealand - Posted by: Gail McFadden (Niece) on: Jul 26, 2021
