A special thanks to his friends, Ken and Jason for being there along with his cousin Henry Faucher.
Bob leaves behind his dad Jean Marc Belanger, brother Joseph Levreault (Janice), and sisters, Roma Jarvis (Tom), Diane Gallipeau (Denley) and Rose Holte (Bill) as well as many nephews and nieces.
As per his wishes, his ashes will be returned to Manitoba to be closer to our mother who passed away June 10, 2021 and our father who passed away in January 1971.

My heart is sad today. Robert and affectionately a.k.a “Lovey” was a long time friend. He was a kind and sometimes comedic fella and the years we spent together he definitely enjoyed life with a smile and made me laugh. We first met at CN Rail back in the crew office and also played pool together and hung out for years (usually at the pub where he would keep an eye on me and keep me safe) before I moved to Ontario. We kept in touch over Facebook and Messenger. I know that Rob was saddened by his mother’s passing in June. He was too young - but I would like to hope they are together again and smiling down on us all. Rest In Peace Lovey, you will be missed. - Posted by: Nikki Horton (Coworker and long time friend) on: Aug 13, 2021

Worked with Rob in the CMC since 1994, when Winnipeg joined the Edmonton family. He was a great friend and co-worker who will be greatly missed. We had a special bond and you will always have a special place in my heart my friend. I will cherish our memories. I take comfort in knowing that you are in a better place and that when I see the brightest star in the night sky that it's you looking in on us. Godspeed Lovey. I met and worked with Rob when the Winnipeg crew office was centralized to Edmonton. Rob was a great coworker always ready with some funny sayings and stories. But very dedicated to his job at dispatching and getting to know the crews in his terminals. Rob very rarely said no to offering a helping hand to anyone who needed it. I bought a dryer from him years ago and he gave me a fantastic price on it, because that’s the kind of guy Rob was. Always ready to help. Very sorry that you were dealing with health issues and were taken way too soon my friend. All who knew you will cherish our memories of you in our lives. Rest in Peace Robert. - Posted by: Gerald Bourhis (Friend and Coworker ) on: Aug 12, 2021

My heart is so heavy as I write this. Rob and I were very close for many, many years when we worked together at CN in Edmonton. He was my coworker, my tenant in the condo he rented from me, my teammate in many years of pool leagues but most importantly my friend. I remember fondly so many pool nights and tournaments where he would look out for me and always escort me home safely. We spent a lot of time together in those years but we slowly lost touch after I left CN and moved on to other careers. His passing makes me wish I had done more to stay connected; due to facebook we did say Hi every now and then for that I am grateful. Rob was one of the kindest people I have ever met; he was always there to help a friend or even a stranger in need; he had a wonderful sense of humour and the biggest smile. Rob, you left a lasting impression on my heart. I know that you have reconnected with your mom in heaven and that the next life will be all the light and laughter you deserve my friend. Love you. - Posted by: Gaylene Noyes (Friend) on: Aug 11, 2021

Robert and I have been friends since the Winnipeg Crew Office moved here to Edmonton. For many years we worked together and socialized frequently. He was a man with a huge heart, always at the front of the line to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word. Rest in peace my friend - I'm sorry you were called away so soon. - Posted by: Tim McNair (Friend) on: Aug 09, 2021

I worked in the same office as Rob for several years at CN. I found him to be a very funny, but extremely nice man. Rest In Peace Rob - Posted by: Rod Hintz (co-worker) on: Aug 07, 2021
