• While we did not maintain contact after the death of her brother, I am sorry to hear of Gail’s passing. When I knew her, Gail was a teenager/early 20s, so she and her older brother and I didn’t spend a lot of time together, mainly family celebrations and holiday dinners. However, I remember her coming to my rescue when I had a sick cat and no transportation. She and her boyfriend stepped in and promptly got us to the emergency vet and back! • Grew up on Wallasey street right beside Gail, she was five years older than me, so didn't really hang out. Her late sister Laura were same age and went to school together. I just remember Gail being so very kind. Ran into Gail a few times throughout the years and it was always nice to connect. • The first day we walked to school together, almost 51 years ago, we became friends. There are so many wonderful memories that I will always cherish like our trip to Toronto. We got lost at the airport, the handle broke off her suitcase, we missed the shuttle to the hotel and finally a transit strike began on our second day there. It may sound like a nightmare but we never laughed so hard or had so much fun. Life wasn’t always kind or easy for Gail but she remained strong.
