Our favourite curling club organizer, forever farmer, and witty friend Colin passed away peacefully on August 5, 2021. Not unexpectedly, but still too soon for those he left behind.
Colin is survived by his wife Pam, and daughter Paige; parents, Barbara and Russell Crockatt; Pam's parents, Marilyn and Clement Desrochers; and Pam's siblings, Tina (Cory), Joedy (Kim), Tannis (Gerald), and Cindy (Steven); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Sadie and Bill Crockatt and Dorothy and Willis Doherty.
Private family interment has taken place at the Argyle Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to a Celebration of Life at the family farm which will be held on Saturda, August 14, 2021 between 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Casual dress and please bring your own lawn chairs, no formal program it is to be "come and go".
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Argyle Curling Club, Box 31, Argyle, MB R0C 0B0.

  • To Pam, Paige, and the rest of Colin’s family, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. As a former student and colleague at the U of M, Colin was a particularly caring, thoughtful, intelligent, and articulate person to work with … as mentioned, his wisdom and wit were delightful. We will miss him very much … but we are fortunate to have shared our lives with his, no matter how briefly. - Posted by: Don Flaten (Former professor and colleague) on: Aug 11, 2021
