WILLIAM ALBERT HENRY LYONS
December 2, 1944 - August 8, 2021

With sadness and broken hearts, the family announces the passing of Bill on August 8, 2021.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Norma Lyons. He will be forever remembered by his wife Lynn, daughter Candace (Jeff), son Joel; and grandchildren, Pazia, Makenna, Ivory, Kade, Brayson, Maddex, Drezden, Brenden (Chelsea) and Robin (Martyn); and great-grandchildren, Ari, Halen and Jackson; as well as brothers-in-law, Rick White and Marvin Orchard; sisters-in-law, Flo Shepherd and Myrna Schopohl; his Aunt Mary Lyons, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bill was born in Portage La Prairie and was raised in Doaktown, NB. He returned to Manitoba at age 21 where he met and married the love of his life, Lynn in 1970.
He worked in a lumber mill and on construction and for 27 years for the City of Winnipeg.
A graveside service which will be live streamed will be held on August 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Transcona Cemetery.
