My sincere condolences for the families loss. She was a great supporter of the Logberg-Heimskringla newspaper. Always cheerful and happy when we had a chance to talk with her. - Posted by: Audrey Kwasnica (Friend of the newspaper) on: Aug 18, 2021

Heather and I grew up together pretty much from birth, I’m 13-1/2 months older and our parents knew each other from Dominion St., staying close friends for 50+ years…I remember many a night at their home on Rita St., playing games in their Rec room or going to visit Heather’s Nana out at her cottage. In later years we’d head out to the Johnsons cottage at Sandy Hook where we’d go out back of their cottage and shoot golf balls on the hole their cottage sat next to and just enjoy our times together as lifelong family friends. I remember when the Johnsons converted the former A&W townhouse into their current restaurant decades ago and will always remember Heather’s welcoming smile whenever I’d pick up a #1, she’d always call me Donald (only her and my Mom are allowed to do that lol)…all joking aside, please accept our deepest condolences John, Rob, Justin, Julia, Chantal and Heather’s MANY friends, acquaintances, loved ones and patrons of D Jays & Ichabod’s, the place just won’t be the same without you…God bless you all, Don & Shelley Bracken - Posted by: Don Bracken (Lifelong family friend 55 years) on: Aug 12, 2021

David and I are shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Heather's passing. We spent a regular weekly evening in DJ's after playing badminton at the Police Academy and got to know Heather well. We loved her, her sense of humour: and she was a great source of new book titles to read. Our sincere condolences to Heather's family. - Posted by: Ann Tyre and David D'Andrea (from the badminton group - friends) on: Aug 12, 2021
