RUSSELL KILLBERY
November 6, 1956 - August 9, 2021

There are no words to express our heartache as we announce Russ' passing on August 9, 2021.
Married for 37 years to his wife Marie; daughter Meghan (Jared), grandchildren, Makenna, Dekker, Zaylee, Zennyk; son Garth (Becky), grandchildren, Kieran, Kellan, Freya.
Left to mourn are his mother Ann; brother Tom (Carol); sisters, Wendy (Neil), Traci (John); a large extended family; he lost his father Wayne, in 2018.
He grew up in St. James, spent his teens on the farm in Teulon, and spent summers at Granite Lake. Russ was a welder for Killbery Industries, Joy Fans, Canadian Rogers, and Imperial Steel; then after 27 years as a letter carrier, retired from Canada Post. He volunteered with Roblin Park, Charleswood Hawks, Varsity View and Softball Manitoba. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
A Celebration of Life will be held on what would have been his 65th birthday, on Saturday, November 6, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Roblin Park Community Centre.
Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of GD6 and CancerCare Clinic 5, the "angels" who provided outstanding care and attention for Russ during his treatments.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Russ' memory may be made to Health Sciences Foundation, designated to the use of the GD6 Medical Oncology Ward.
