LAURIE FLOYD BOSS
January 26, 1955 - August 6, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Floyd Boss at the age of 66.
Floyd is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Judy of 41 years, his children, Cody (Alanna), Kirby (Mike), and Kyle (Leah); his grandchildren, Piper, Skylar and Hendrix; his mother Edna; sister Laverne as well as many extended family and friends.
Floyd grew up in the community of Charleswood in Winnipeg. He and Judy decided to grow and build their family in their loving home of 36 years on Harstone Road. Everyone was always welcomed into their home, including many of the feathered friends in the neighbourhood. Floyd always made sure his birds were well fed with his assortment of homemade bird feed.
Floyd was a devoted husband and father to his three children. He enthusiastically volunteered his time through coaching his children's football and softball teams.
He was passionate about spending his summers riding his motorcycle and snowmobiling through the long Manitoba winters. Floyd could often be found in the garage, meticulously maintaining the 56 Chevy, getting it ready for Sunday cruise nights with Judy.
It is with deep sadness we will forever miss our "Boss Man".
In accordance with Floyd's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held.
Thank you to the physicians and staff at CancerCare Manitoba and the Palliative Care Program, for caring for Floyd throughout the last months of his journey.
Funeral arrangements have been made through Mosaic Funeral Home and Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.

  • Debbie and I are truly sorry to hear about Floyd's passing. We haven't seen Floyd in over 25 years but still have fond memories of when we were all together. We all met in the late 70's and had became good friends. There was lots of snowmobiling, trips to Grand Forks, and lots of good fun filled visits. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. - Posted by: Brian and Debbie (Old friends) on: Sep 07, 2022
