AUDREY JOYCE WALKER
(KUHLMAN)
February 15, 1937 - August 6, 2021

Audrey will be deeply missed by her children, Allison Stephensen (Michael) and Jackie Walker; and grandchildren Jordan, Sean, and Alexandra Stephensen. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Walker, mother Emma Kuhlman, and other extended family members.
Audrey's greatest love and source of pride was her family. We feel fortunate to have had a mother and grandmother who was unfailingly loving, kind and compassionate, and who faced numerous challenges with determination and courage.
The family thanks Dr. Heather Frame for her exceptional care for many years, and also thanks the staff at the Shaftesbury and Riverview for their compassionate care.
For those who wish, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba (no flowers please).

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • My family were long-time friends of the Habermans and Kuhlmans. I remember first meeting Audrey and Donald at her Grandma's house on Riverton. Over the years with marriages and family members passing on, we lost track. Eight years ago when my Brother passed away, I was so pleased to see Audrey when she attended the Service. We made a date to get together for Lunch and we had a good visit and lots of years to catch up on. Audrey's Mom was such a wonderful person and Audrey was her Mother's daughter. I feel very sad that we didn't get together again but I have lots of good memories of the lovely person she was and her wonderful smile. My condolences to her family. - Posted by: Joy French (nee Gross) (Family Friend) on: Aug 18, 2021

  • Audrey was a very nice person. She was caring and giving. She passed on her girls dresses to me as I had 2 little girls that were younger than her girls. At that time in he 60s It was a huge gesture ..we were in hard times and her generosity was really appreciated. Janet and don Kuhlman are my sister and brother-in-law. Rest In Peace Audrey - Posted by: Irene Neroda (Old friend ) on: Aug 15, 2021
