TREVOR JAMES FURET HARDER

Tragically, on Friday, August 13, 2021, Trevor Harder, aged 30 years of Winnipeg passed away.
He leaves behind daughter Lily Grace; brother Brett; parents, Gary and Lynn; cousins, Robert (Lucille) and Joseph; uncles, Guy and Gord; grandmother Annette, as well as numerous friends. He was predeceased by Uncle Phil and "Auntie" Diane.
Trevor's greatest passions in life were being a loving father to his daughter Lily, being a loving brother to his lifelong "best friend" Brett, and the sport of basketball. He will fondly be remembered for being ethical and honest, for his infectious laugh and smile, for his presence on the basketball court as both a player and referee, and for being a "collector". His presence will be profoundly missed.

Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I knew Trevor first as a young player 10-11 years old on our Ft. Garry WMBA basketball. It was clear that he was passionate about the game of basketball and he could always be counted on to give 110%. He was a team leader in every way and it was my pleasure to coach him for a couple of seasons (spring and fall). My heart breaks for his parents Gary and Lynn. I know how much you loved him because you were always there, whether it was helping coach the team or cheering on from the stands. I just wanted to share this small part of Trevor's story. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you deal with Trevor's passing. - Posted by: Gerry Toews (Coach and family friend) on: Sep 16, 2021

  • Very sorry and shocked to hear of Trevor’s passing. From one basketball family to another we very sorry for your loss. Way back in the St. Maurice School days we watched our kids and Trevor play. Trevor then moved to reffing and was a fantastic ref. Reffing our kids games that I coached at St. Maurice and Arthur A. Leach. He will be sorely missed and be well remembered.
