December 26, 1951 – August 15, 2021

With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved spouse, father and grandpa, Kenneth Michael Herchak.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Pauline Herchak, and by his nephew Glen Leschyshyn.
Ken is survived by his beloved spouse Jane; his loving daughter Dielle (Mark), by his grandchildren, Avery and Cole; and by his sister Patricia Leschyshyn.
Ken loved spending time with his family, both immediate and extended, and will be missed by his aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Ken began his working career at McGuinness, where his hard work and dedication resulted in him winning many awards and trips throughout the world. Ken then transitioned to a career as a small business Account Manager at Cambrian Credit Union and then Steinbach Credit Union, making many long lasting friendships during the course of his career. Ken retired in 2018, which gave him more time to enjoy the things he loved.
Ken took pride in the appearance of his home, maintaining his yard by making sure his grass was the first cut each spring and the greenest on the street. Ken always loved cars and took meticulous care of his vehicles over the years. He had a real liking for Jeeps. After retirement, he bought his dream vehicle, a new white Jeep Wrangler.
Ken and Jane loved travelling together, which included many trips to Fargo and Grand Forks bargain shopping, and also loved hot spots, like Jamaica, Mexico and Caribbean cruises. Ken's true passion was spending time with his grandchildren, Avery and Cole, spoiling them every way possible.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Ken's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
