FRANCES MARY RAUCH
1927 - 2021
She was the true matriarch of our family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, Ken (Bea) Rauch, Lesley (James) Hogg, Gerald (Dawn) Rauch and Tim (Carol) Rauch; and by her grandchildren, Tracy Rauch, Kerry (Roger) Ramsay, Jacalyn Martin, Tamara (Mike) Terleski, Candace (John) Kostusik, Justin (Sarah) Hogg, Sean Rauch and Meghan Rauch. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Christian and Samara Rauch, Ava and Izabella Terleski, Gabriella and Liam Kostusik, Logan and Myles Ramsay, Nicklas, Gabrielle and Jaxson Martin and Isaiah Hogg. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Raymond (2008), as well as her parents and seven siblings, including her twin brother.
Frances was born in St. James on February 2, 1927. She grew up on the family farm in Fisherton, Manitoba. She met her husband, Raymond in Winnipeg, and shortly moved to Biggar, Saskatchewan and then on to British Columbia, before moving back to Winnipeg. Frances, whose faith was a significant part of her life, was a long-time member of Emmanuel United Pentecostal Church and former member of Bethel Tabernacle. While raising her four children, Frances was involved in her community - starting a neighbourhood Hobby Club and Sunday School at St. Avila West School in Fort Garry, and was very involved in Ladies Auxiliary, Sunday School, and many events at her church. As a mother, grandmother, and friend Frances was a strong woman of prayer and could be counted on to fervently pray for each person and need on her ever-growing prayer list.
The family invites you for visitation on Sunday, August 22 at 2:30 p.m. followed by the funeral service which will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Community Church, 430 Lakewood Blvd. The family asks that you please wear masks. A family graveside service will take place on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Winnipeg.
The family wishes to thank the Kildonan Personal Care Centre staff for their compassion and kind care of their loved one during her stay.

Sister Rauch was an amazing, steadfast, Christian lady. Even though I have not lived in Winnipeg since 1981, we always kept in touch through our Christmas letters to each other. We visited several times when she came to visit Ken in Ottawa. She was truly a reflection of her Saviour, Jesus Christ!! She was a big influence in my life and I am blessed because I knew her. She is rejoicing with her Saviour, the One she served all her life. May the Lord keep all her family in His loving arms. - Posted by: Hazel Maki (Friend from church) on: Aug 21, 2021
