JAMES ATHOL FOSTER
Predeceased by his parents, Martha and Athol; wife Casey in 2008; daughter Patricia in 1978 and numerous other family members.
He leaves in mourning his son John (Donna); two grandsons, Robert (Carla) and great-granddaughters, Hailey and Emma; Jeffrey (Kandice) and great-grandsons, James and Jackson; sister Dulcie Anderson from California and sister-in-law Halina Adey and her family.
James served with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1943 to 1946. He joined the Winnipeg Police Service in 1949, wore his uniform proudly and after 35 years of service, retired in 1984.
His retirement years were spent curling, bowling, travelling, golfing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
Together again with his beloved Casey and Patricia.
The family would like to thank the incredible staff at Middle Church Home who always treated James with kindness and respect.
We are forever grateful for such wonderful care you all gave to our loved one over the past four years.
