MARY MARGUERITE HEINDLE

In loving memory of Mary Heindle, who passed away August 19, 2021 after a brief illness at the age of 85.
Mary was born June 29, 1936 and was the last of eight children born to Wilfred and Mary Foster.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, George in 2019.
Mary's life long passion was teaching and the children she blessed with that passion, through the 30 some years of her career. She was always upgrading her education to further expand her knowledge. All of her nieces and nephews benefitted from her love of children.
Mary loved the Arts/Theatre, bowling, volunteering, the excitement and luck of the casino, travel, love of animals, especially cats, and her family.
When the decision was made to sell their long-time home in River Heights, she grew to love her new home at Sturgeon Creek.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Humane Society, Ronald McDonald House or a charity of your choice.
Private family interment has been planned.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • We only knew Mary and George for a relatively short time (maybe 10 years) but quickly became good friends with the two of them. We are both shocked and saddened to hear of Mary's passing. Unfortunately Covid has kept people apart...we had l longed to meet Mary at the Qualico Centre, a favorite meeting place, to catch up on our lives. We met the two when they hired us to get rid of the weeds in their garden and plant flowers because they could no longer do it. We enjoyed their company and found out Mary lived in Snow Flake once, across the road from a friend of ours. We found we had a lot in common and stayed in touch. If you are family, I want you to now that Mary was very precious, very special to us. We are very sorry she is no longer with us but that is kind of selfish...I think George needs her more! - Posted by: Elaine and Jan Hoogland (friend) on: Aug 21, 2021
