MICHAEL MONKMAN
April 19, 1962 – August 18, 2021
Michael passed to be with his parents and ancestors before him. Mike was a former long time resident of the Richer area.
Mike fought many health battles in the last 30+ years. Recently confiding he was ready to go and again the day before.
He will be greatly missed by his siblings: George (Harry), Gary (Arlene), Shirley (Bill), Gloria (Charlie), Theresa, Diana (Leonard), Lynda, and Eric; 23 nieces/nephews, 42 great-nieces/nephews, two great-great-nieces/nephews and many relatives.
Mike was predeceased by his parents Nettie in 2018 and George in 2008.
Everyone has fond memories of Uncle Mike, from little pranks for good laughs, him being blunt with the truth so we take a lesson with us, and the times around the fire pit. Mike was a solid built tower of strength people were attracted to.
Thank you to the staff at HSC D Floor for all the compassion given to him. We could see he pulled at many hearts on the ward. And a special thank you to nurse Diana who spent time with him after shifts. Rest up Mike, you are loved by many.
Cremation has occurred. Service will be arranged at a later date.

Mike and his brother Eric were close friends of ours growing up together and going to school together, we were all part of a group called the blue platoon.
