LOEKADIA (LOLA) TYMCZYSZYN
November 27, 1929 - August 24, 2021

It is with great sadness and grieving hearts that the family of Lola Tymczyszyn announces the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Aunt on August 24, 2021 in Surrey, BC at the incredible age of 91.
Lola lived an extraordinary life. She was born in Poland to a large family of 10 siblings. Anyone who knew Lola has heard her incredible story of how she and her family lived through the Second World War. At 13 years old she fled her hometown and eventually ended up in Germany working on a farm during the war. At just 18 years old she took a life changing opportunity to move to Canada for a new beginning. Her strength was an inspiration to our family and the reason we all have had the opportunity for incredible and happy lives.
Lola arrived in Canada, first in Saskatchewan and eventually in Winnipeg. It was in Winnipeg that she met her husband Stanley. When her husband passed unexpectedly at a young age, Lola persevered again and raised two young children on her own.
Lola eventually met her husband Kazimierz, and they had three children together.
Lola and Kaz spent their summers at the lake taking every opportunity to enjoy time as a family. Family was so important to Lola and was her reason for being.
Missing her deeply will be her children, Richard, Edward (Barbara), Diane, Frank and Stan (Tannis); her grandchildren, Jen, Chris, Derek, Michelle (Jay) Chris and Zachary; and her great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Elleway.

There are no words to express how much we will miss you. The sound of your voice, the feel of your hugs, the laughter we shared - your presence will never be forgotten.

"In life we loved you dearly, in death
we love you still. In our hearts you
hold a place, that no one will ever fill."

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 342 Pritchard Avenue.
