NANCY FLORENCE BEWICK
(GREGG)
August 21, 1924 - January 8, 2021
Nancy was predeceased by her husband Lloyd; parents, Margaret and Percy Gregg; daughter Wendy Cormier (Ray), sister Betty Townsley (Bob), and brother Ken Gregg.
Left to cherish her memory are son David (Susan); grandsons, Brad (Regan) and Curtis (Helen); granddaughter Tricia Lylyk (Rob); great-grandsons, Lucas, Carson and Rowan; great-granddaughters, Kayla, Sloane, and Mackenzie; many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
Nancy lived a full, rich life and found pleasure in the simple things. She was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a heart of gold, a loving smile, and a distinctive laugh.
Mom spent her childhood and teen years in East Kildonan, attending Prince Edward School and East Kildonan Collegiate. Shortly after graduation Nancy began her lifelong career as a florist at Ormiston's, eventually managing the store on Corydon. She loved floral design and meeting her many clients over the years. In retirement Mom enjoyed travelling, cooking, baking, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and spent many years on the church council. After over 50 years in her home on Enniskillen, Mom decided it was time to move on. In 2013 she moved to Kildonan House where she enjoyed her final years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 155 Bannerman Avenue or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
