James (Jim) Neumann passed away suddenly at home in LaSalle MB on Sunday August 29, 2021. Jim was born in Deloraine, MB and raised nearby in Waskada, MB.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Jodi Neumann-Johnston, and Dana Ransom (Rick). Jim is also survived by his five grandchildren, Cole, Chase, Shayne, IzaBelle, Jakob, his four sisters, Joan, Betty, Lyn, Pat, and their spouses, Don Hodgson, Gilbert Vigfusson, Barry Shannon, Harry Fraser along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Ruth Neumann, and three brothers, George, Charlie, Bob.
Jim started his long career as a CGA at Versatile in Winnipeg, leaving to eventually own and operate Park City Products. Eventually in search of a slower pace Jim became the controller for the Manitoba Egg Producers until he retired in 2015. Jim served on many boards most notably, the Manitoba Food Processors, and was often awarded for his regular blood and plasma donations.
Jim will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
A family graveside service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.

I am so very sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. He and I started with Manitoba Egg Farmers the same year and worked together until his retirement. There are so many memories of Jim, he was a kind and caring person. He opened his cabin to us several times where we had a lot of laughs and great food. And yes the Santa collection brought such a festive feel to the office. He and I were also Downton Abbey lovers. My condolences to all of the family at his sudden passing. I was saddened to hear of the passing of Jim. I have many fond memories working with Jim at Manitoba Egg Producers. Remembering his displays of all his Santas that he would bring in for everyone to see at the office. My thoughts and prayers are with you Jodi and Dana in the loss of your father.
