JACK M. CHAMBERS

Born in Treherne, July 14, 1931. Died at home peacefully while surrounded by loved ones in Winnipeg, August 23, 2021
A pilot with Air Canada for forty years, Jack was a golfer, curler, fisher, hunter,
carpenter and family man. He was the best of the best. A deeply loved and most cherished husband to Lorene (nee Kleysen) for over sixty-six years, father to Jill and Jim,
Grandpa to Matthew (Lauren), Alexandra (Harold) and Zachary (Rita), and Papa to five young "greats".
A man like no other; he enriched the lives of so many. Captain Jack took to the skies for his final flight August 23rd.
We are grateful to the M.A.I.D. (Medical Assistance in Dying) Team for their
professional, prompt, and efficient response to Jack's request.
As per Jack's request, there will not be a service. Cremation has taken place.
As vertigo robbed Jack of his quality of life and his will to live, in lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to McMaster University, Vertigo Research via www.givetomcmaster.ca or mailing a cheque to the following address:
