(nee FOX)

On Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Beacon Hill Lodge, in Winnipeg Manitoba died peacefully at the age of 89.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing her children, Barbara Urbanski (Jack), Timothy Wall (Sonia), Catherine Parent (Richard), Clinton Wall (Wanda), Cheryl McLean (Bruce), Melanie Wall-Montero (Mario); her siblings, Rodney Fox (Liz), Terrance Fox and Jeanine Webster. She is predeceased by husband Norman Wall; siblings, Barbara Hogan, Rolland Fox, Douglas Fox, Sharon Settee and Constance Fox.
She leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a home birth on September 12, 1931 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Daughter of William Rodney Fox and Aubrey Bertha (Shale). She married Norman Wall on October 27, 1951 and they settled on the family farm in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan. Mom embraced farm life and felt grateful to have been able to raise their children there. She realized how much she enjoyed gardening while on the farm and has been a gardener since. Our family moved to Winnipeg in 1970. After the youngest child, Melanie, entered school, Mom went back to work doing administrative roles, ending her career at Transport Canada.
"Nana" had a special relationship with each of her grandchildren. She could always think of an adventure they could do together, be it a real bus ride or a make believe magic carpet ride, flying over far away lands!
Mom and Dad celebrated their 49th Wedding Anniversary in October, 2000, just prior to Dad's passing that December.
The family would like to thank the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for their care of our Mom over the past eight years.
If one desires, a donation can be made in Mom's memory to a charity of your choice.
A private family celebration is being planned.
